At the deepest threshold of the Yoni lies the Cervix, a sacred gateway long revered in Tantra as the yoni-dvāra—the door of the womb. Unlike the more immediate sensitivities of the G-spot and A-spot, the cervix rests in stillness, a guardian of profound mystery. It is both the entrance to creation and a place where deep emotions, memory, and spiritual power are held.

“The womb is the seat of the goddess; through its door flows all life.”

The cervix is unique in that it responds not only to physical touch, but also to energy, presence, and the state of the heart. Many women hold unspoken pain, fear, or tension here, for the cervix remembers every encounter—joyful or sorrowful. When honored gently and reverently in Yoni Puja, it can become a gateway of release, allowing a woman to let go of burdens carried within her deepest center.

Awakening the Cervix

Unlike the quick arousal of outer pleasure zones, the cervix opens slowly, requiring trust, patience, and deep surrender. When touched with sacred intent, it can awaken a current of energy that travels beyond the body, flowing upward through the spine and into the heart and crown. In Tantra, this is seen as the movement of Shakti rising to meet Shiva.

The experience of cervical awakening can be profound: some women feel waves of bliss that spread through the whole being, while others may weep or laugh as old emotions dissolve. This is why the cervix is often called the “portal of transformation.”

“When the door of the womb is touched with reverence, the whole universe trembles with joy.”

Healing and Liberation

The cervix is not merely a biological passageway—it is a spiritual threshold. When its tension is softened and its sacredness acknowledged, a woman may encounter healing on many levels:

Physical: release of pelvic tightness, improved cycles, greater comfort during intimacy.

Emotional: letting go of trauma, shame, or hidden grief stored in the womb.

Spiritual: opening to profound states of oneness, where pleasure becomes prayer.

In Yoni Puja, the therapist’s role is never to intrude, but to create a space of safety where the woman herself allows the cervix to open. This is an offering of devotion, not a technique of force.

 Reflection

The cervix stands as the third sacred threshold within the Yoni Mandala. Where the G-spot flows with release and the A-spot with continuous bliss, the cervix carries the deepest call—to surrender into the vastness of being. It is the place where the personal dissolves into the universal, where Shakti unites fully with Shiva, and where the woman remembers that she is both the vessel of life and the embodiment of the divine.

“In the depth of the womb lies the doorway to infinity.”

When honored in Yoni Puja, the cervix is not simply touched—it is revered as a sacred temple gate, leading the woman beyond pleasure into freedom, healing, and liberation.
